This Denny's dates way back, in Olathe KS, (pronounced Oh-LAY-thuh) a southwest suburb of Kansas City MO. Now a Mexican restaurant. It's the same style as the one at Broadway and Truman Road, by Bartle Hall Convention Center.
This style is in Colorado Springs, too. I'm sure Denny's insiders know the designation--"Oh, what a splendid example of an M-2000 plan!" or whatever. LOL
The Mexican restaurant failed, during the 2010-2011 economic morass, and as of Jan 2012, has been toned down, in color scheme, for use as a used car dealership.
